Congrats to the Kilbride Ladies!

Congratulations to our Senior ladies who have won the Senior league for 2016. This is the first time in the clubs history to win this league so well done to all involved , The team was beaten by Strokestown following a tightly contested game on Saturday evening but they had still done enough in their other games in the league to take this years title. Team Captain Aoife Feely was presented with the Shield by Johnny Cox joint chairman of fixtures committee. after the game.
Their next outing is next Saturday when they take part in the Connacht sevens in Ballyhaunis centre of excellence which is always an enjoyable day out.

Kilbride GAA Lotto

The lotto draw will take place in Foxes Bar on Saturday when the jackpot will be €2,400.

Our U14’s recorded a comprehensive victory over St Faithleach’s in the league semi-final 12-15 to 3-05. The will now play Strokestown in the final on Thursday at 7.30pm in Ballyleague.

Hard luck to our U12 team who were defeated after extra time in their Division 6 semi-final against Roscommon Gaels in Kilbride on Sunday. A late Cian O’Grady goal brought the match into extra time but the Kilbide boys just lost out by a point in the end. 4-09 to 3-13.

Our other U12 team play Strokestown on Saturday in Rockfield at 6.15pm in the Division 2 league final.

Hard luck to the U 14 girls who were beaten by a stronger Shannon Gaels team last Wednesday evening. Their final game in the league is fixed for Wednesday in Kilbride at 7 pm against Western Gaels. Good luck to all.

Good luck to the U12s have to make the long journey to St. Michaels on Tuesday evening for their next game.

Under 10, Under 8 and Under 6 training takes place every Monday from 7 to 8pm.
