SPONSORSHIP

St Barrys were recently presented with a new set of jerseys for our Adult Mens team, sponsored by Keenan’s of Tarmonbarry. The Keenan family have been excellent supporters of St Barrys over the years, and we thank them for their kind support. We hope to be able to confirm some more sponsorship for our underage teams in the coming weeks, and as always we thank all of our sponsors and supporters for their help.

LADIES ROUND-UP

Our Under 14 Girls travelled to picturesque Tisara Community Park on Wednesday last where they faced a strong Four Roads side in the league. In spite of a battling performance, the girls were well beaten in the end. They play their last league game on Wednesday against Strokestown.

The Under 12 Girls faced strong opposition last week, and in spite of good performances lost out to bots Padraig Pearses & Clan Na nGael in the league.

Our adult ladies recorded a win over neighbours Killashee in a challenge game on Thursday night. This was the first time the newly formed Killashee Ladies made the trip to Tarmonbarry, and was a good workout for both sides.

MEDAL PRESENTATION

Presentation of Medals won in 2015 took place on Saturday last for U 12 boys, U 14 girls and U 16 girls. Thanks to David Keenan for presenting the medals, and to Eddie and the crew for organising the event.

UNDER 12 BOYS IN FINAL OF SPRING LEAGUE

The Under 12 boys have the Division 4 Spring League Final on Saturday next (June 11th) at 2.15 in Tulsk against Western Gaels. Please all support.
