Aisling McNeill from Roscommon town was crowned the 2016 Rose of Roscommon at last night’s Gala in the Abbey Hotel, Roscommon.
Representing Roscommon Racecourse she impressed the judges and the MC – Today FM’s Fergal D’Arcy, to take the title ahead of 16 rivals from throughout the county.
Aisling will now represent the county in the Rose of Tralee National Qualifiers in Tralee on August 17th and 18th. If she is successful there she will go forward to the live TV Finals on the following week.
