The Hodson Bay Hotel sponsored Roscommon Senior Football Championship and Mulryan Construction Intermediate Football Championship get under way this Saturday and there are big questions to be answered in both competitions.

Hodson Bay Hotel Senior Football Championship

The big question is can Clann retain the title?
Bookmakers Ladbrokes aren’t so sure and have put the Champions in as second favourites, along side last year’s beaten Finalists Padraig Pearses. They think St Brigids will be the team to beat again. The odds for the Championship are as follows:

St Brigids 6/4,
Clann na nGael and Padraig Pearses 4/1,
Roscommon Gaels 5/1,
Boyle 11/1,
Western Gaels and Castlerea St Kevins 14/1,
St Faithleachs 16/1,
Strokestown 20/1,
Elphin and St Croans 33/1,
Michael Glaveys 66/1

The action gets under way on Saturday with Clann na nGael away to Roscommon Gaels in Lisnamult at 7pm.
St. Croans and Michael Glaveys meet in O’Rourke Park at 7:15pm and
Strokestown face Western Gaels in the Orchard Park at 7:15pm

On Sunday Boyle host Castlerea St Kevins in Abbey Park at 2pm,
Padraig Pearses host St Brigids in Pairc an Phiarsaigh at 2pm and
St. Faithleachs and Elphin meet in Kilglass

Mulryan Construction Intermediate Football Championship

Can Tulsk finally claim the title after coming so close in recent years or will there be another surprise package?
There are just four games in the competition this weekend. Kilmore V Oran and Fuerty V Kilbride are both postponed due to players involvement in the Christy Ring Cup.

On Saturday St. Dominics and Tulsk Lord Edwards meet in Ballyleague at 7pm and St Aidans host Éire Óg in Ballyforan at 7pm.

On Sunday Clann na nGael B host 2015 Junior A Champions Shannon Gaels in Johnstown at 2pm and St Michaels host St Barrys in Ardcarne Park at 2pm.
