St. John’s Parish Heritage Group are hosting a talk on Memorial Art on Headstones in Kilcommon Ancient Graveyard in St. John’s Community Centre, Lecarrow on Wednesday May 11th at 8pm.
This informative illustrated lecture will be delivered by Mary B. Timoney M.A. & M.I.A.I. Author of “Had Me Made”, study of headstone art in County Sligo and of the forthcoming book on Ballintober old graveyard and Memorial art of County Roscommon and several other articles on memorial art.
