Sympathy

Kilglass Gaels GAA Club offers it condolences to the family and friends of the late Liam Feeney, Druminmore whose funeral took place during the week. Liam was a former club secretary (1984-1986). He was an avid Kilglass Gaels and Roscommon supporter, Liam took ill at Connacht U-21 final in Sligo three week ago and unfortunately passed away on Monday last. A guard of honour involving Kilglass Gaels and various other local clubs and organisations took place at Liam’s removal on Tuesday evening. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.

Results

Kilglass Gaels/St. Barrys U-14 team recorded 5-12 to 2-02 win over Western Gaels on Thursday last. Our adult team had a good win over St. Aidans in the Tansey Cup on Sunday afternoon last in Kilglass. Final score Kilglass Gaels 1-13 St. Aidans 0-13.

Our U-16 Girls played St. Michaels in County U-16 B Final in Ballyfarnon on Sunday afternoon. Kilglass ran out winner’s final score Kilglass 3-09 St. Michaels 1-09. Well done to team and management. Thanks to all who supported the girls and to the club for supplying the refreshments afterwards.

Meetings

A special club meeting will take place in clubrooms in Thursday 28th April at 9p.m. to organise double header arranged for Kilglass on 8th May.

Doing A Spring Clean?

Kilglass Gaels are doing a Cash For Clobber again this year. All unwanted items of clothing, shoes, handbags bed linen etc can be bagged and left at Kilglass Centre or can be collected by club officials.

Club Rossie Members Draw

Takes place on Saturday 14th May €30,000 in cash prizes. The main focus of this year’s campaign is the redevelopment of Dr. Hyde Park and to maximize the potential of all teams in all codes. Continues in Kilglass Community Centre on Tuesday nights at 8.30pm. Last week’s winners JP Farrell 6 games each. New players welcome.
