Congratulations to the Castlerea St Kevins Under 16 Girls team who defeated Four Roads in the Division 2 Championship final last Sunday. The following is the u16 panel Jessica Connolly, Ailish O Rourke, Sarah Diggins, Ashna Henry, Ciarrai Harkin, Chloe Finan, Ciara Farrell, Alanna Hanmore, Holly Hopkins, Rachael Mulligan, Clara Neary, Katie Hannelly, Aisling Kelly, Lisa O’Rourke, Maureen Quinn, Katie NcIntyre, Clodagh Daire, Clodagh McFadden and Katelyn Hester. Management team Tommy Finan, AnnO Rourke and Tracey Finan.
The Senior team were defeated by St Dominic’s in the O’Gara cup last Sunday in O’Rourke Park.
The junior team conceded their game in the Tansey Cup last Saturday to Elphin due to lack of numbers.
The minor boy’s team got a walkover against Michael Glavey’s in the division 3 league last Friday.
The u14 boy’s were unable to field against St Aidan’s in the division two league last week; they play Kilmore/Shannon Gael’s next Thursday in O’Rourke Park at 7pm.
The boy’s u12 game against St Dominic’s in the division two league was postponed last week, it will now be played next Saturday at 2pm in O’Rourke Park.
The girl’s u12 team were defeated by Eire Og last week in the Western league; they play St Croan’s on Monday 25th April in Enfield at 7pm and Michael Glavey’s on Wednesday 27th April in O’Rourke Park at 7pm.
The Gaelic for mothers and others meet twice a week in O’Rourke Park for some fun games and exercise, new members welcome no previous football experience necessary. Call 0861236244, 0872916565 or 0872522231 for information.
Well done to Lisa O Rourke and Rachael Mulligan and their Roscommon u14 team-mates who Defeated Sligo and have now qualified for the Connaught final.

Castlerea St Kevins Lucky Numbers Draw
There was no winner of the €15,600 lucky numbers jackpot on Friday 22nd April; numbers drawn on the night were 14, 29, 30 and 32. €50 winners on the night were M A Connelly, Caroline, Jacob & Regina, Cian McLoughlin and Bernard Casey. Next weeks jackpot is €15,700 and the draw takes place in The Cosy Bar on Friday 29th April. Tickets on sale in shops and pubs in town or from any club official at €2 per panel or three panels for €5. Castlerea St Kevin’s thanks everyone who supports our lotto.
