The Oranmore Maree Coastal Search Team, who are leading the search for missing Kiltoom man Anthony Henehan have announced that tomorrow’s search will commence from Calasanctius College, Oranmore at 10:30am.
For the past few days the search had been focussing on Renmore and Ballyloughane Strand. The Search Team have stressed that there will be extremely low tides in the area and therefore they are asking for a large number of volunteers to get involved.
Anyone wishing to take part in Saturday’s search is asked to present themselves at Calasanctius College for a briefing at 10:30am. Volunteers are asked to wear a hi-viz vest or jacket, wellies, waterproof clothing, a walking stick and, if possible, a change of footwear, as they will be searching on challenging terrain. They have advised that a search usually lasts between two and three hours.
If Anthony is not found the search will resume on Sunday at 11am
