Roscommon Gaels presented their Annual Awards on Friday last, April 1st, at the Club’s Social Night in Carty’s Porterhouse and the winners were as follows
Young Footballer of the Year: Richard Hughes. Presented by Seamus Comiskey and collected by Richards mother, Nuala.
Young Hurler of the Year: Tom Cullen. Presented by Michael Gleeson.
Young Camogie Player of the Year: Caoimhe Shanagher. Presented by Marie Benedetti.
Minor Ladies Footballer of the Year: Amy Dolan Presented by Philip Mullen
Adult camogie Player of the Year: Lauren O’Riordan. Presented by Peter Mullen
Adult Footballer of the Year: Scott Oates Presented by Mark Molloy.
Adult Hurler of the Year: Brian Concannon Presented by John Gillooly.
Adult Ladies Footballer of the Year: Bernie Ryan. Presented by Marie Benedetti and collected by Bernie’s sister Anna.
Club Person of the Year: Francie Hoare Presented by his mother Rita. Francie works tirelessly to promote Roscommon Gaels and we are all better for his work. A well-deserved award.
The Hall of Fame: Frank Durkin. Presented by Marie Benedetti.
