Elphin teams carry Roscommon hopes for Scór Sinear All-Ireland Gold

For supporters of Scór, the GAA cultural competition, in the county, all roads lead to Kerry this weekend to support two teams from Elphin in their quest for All-Ireland titles.

The Scór Sinsear All-Ireland Final will take place on Saturday at 3pm INEC, Killarney and Roscommon will be represented in the Tráth na gCeist and the Léiriú Stáitse competitions. The Léiriú Stáitse competition, formerly known as the Novelty Act, was one of the highlights of Scór Sinsir Chonnacht. Elphin’s take on the Féis Ceoil had everyone rolling in the aisles. People with a genuine interest in Irish Dance costumes would be well advised to book tickets for the upcoming All-Ireland Final in the INEC, Killarney as it is felt that the “avant-garde” costumes of the Elphin Léiriú dancers will do for Irish Dance costumes what Riverdance did for Step-dancing!
