There was a strong trade at Wednesday’s Bullock sale in Elphin Mart, with a 92% clearance.
The average prices achieved were as follows:
Bullocks weighing 301kg to 400kg achieved an average price of €1,088 with a top price of €1,200 for a 387kg Charolais.
Bullocks weighing 401kg to 500kg achieved an average price of €1,137 with a top price of €1,365 for a 500kg Charolais.
Bullocks weighing 501kg to 730kg achieved an average price of €1,348 with a top price of €1,590 for a 730kg Charolais Bullock
