Cloonfad United 0-0 Skyvalley Rovers
The first team came away from Skyvalley with a point they probably deserved after a scoreless draw on Sunday. Cloonfad could have been 2 or 3 behind after 10 mins but we steady the ship a bit to be level at half time. Skyvalley were in total control during the second half and the Cloonfad defence rowed it’s luck on more than one occasion. However some heroic defending meant we claimed one league point which will give the Cloonfad Team a glimmer of hope of beating the drop.
Upcoming Fixtures
Two huge home games take place this week. On Wednesday night we face Castlerea Celtic and next Saturday it’s a bottom of the table clash with MD Town.
The B Team are in to the hat for the next round of the Roscommon Cup after first round opponents conceded the game at the weekend.
