The Roscommon Senior Footballers defeated Donegal by 1-19 (22) to 0-17 in the Allianz Football League – Read our report here
Camogie
Roscommon were defeated in the Irish Daily Star National Camogie League Division 3 on a scoreline of Armagh 2-8 Roscommon 2-4.
Ladies Gaelic Football
Roscommon Minor Ladies suffered a 4-8 (20) to 2-13 (19) defeat to Mayo in Round 1 of the Connacht Championship.

Handball
Rory Carthy and Irslam Yakhyaev had a very easy win in the Connacht 40×20 Under 11 “B” Handball Finals in Bofield, Co. Mayo. Carragh Kennedy was narrowly beaten in the Under 12 Final.
Gaelic Football
In the Tansey Cup – Adult Football League Division Three Western Gaels B defeated Kilglass Gaels by 1-12 to 2-7 and Creggs defeated Ballinameen by 3-6 to 1-9
Hurling
The Roscommon Senior Hurlers came from six points down to defeat Warwickshire by 1-21(24) to 3-12(21) in the Allianz League. Meanwhile, the Roscommon Minor Hurlers narrowly lost to Down in Group A of the Leinster League: Down 1-15 (18) Roscommon 2-10 (16).

The Roscommon Under 21 Footballers began their Connacht Championship defence with a win over Galway. Read our report here
The Roscommon Minor Footballers began their Connacht League campaign with a comprehensive 2-20 to 1-2 win over Mayo in the Connacht GAA Centre.
Soccer
In The Herald Premier Division Ballymoe FC and Moore Utd drew 1-1 and in Round 1 of The Herald Roscommon Cup Ballinasloe Town B had a comfortable 3-0 win over Kilkerrin United.
Pool
Roscommon Pool League Cup Semi-Final First Leg “Foxes” defeated “An Bothar Rua” 4-3.
In the Quarter-Finals of the Roscommon Pool League Shield there were wins for “Eddies” and “The Silver Eel” and this is how things Ended after the two legs:
“Eddies” 10 “Farrells” 8.
“The Silver Eel” 10 “The Forge” 6.
In the Semi-Finals “Eddies” now play “The Central” and “The Silver Eel” will play “Sorohans”.

Castlerea Cosmos qualified for the Shannon Side League Ladies Cup Final with a win over Torpedos, Longford.
