County Roscommon Disability Support Group are hosting a support and Training Programme for Home Carers.
This programme is specifically for Carer’s in the home and will be a mix of specialised workshops such as dementia care and infection prevention. Participants will have the opportunity of gaining a QQI Level 5 minor award in Care Skills and QQI Level 5 Occupational First Aid and Manual Handling and Safe Patient Movement will also be included in the programme. Respite Care is available to participants.
