Elphin GAA Sponsorship Draw
Tickets for the 2016 Elphin GAA Sponsorship Draw are now available from Peter Scott or any member of the Executive. The Draw will take place March 19th and the response to date has been excellent. The winner will get their logo on the front of the Senior Team Jersey, the runner-up will get their name on the back of the Jersey and all participants will be listed on a sign in The Orchard and on-line. Last year’s winner was Cllr Valerie Byrne and she chose to put a logo promoting SOS Elphin on the front of the Jersey and the runner-up was John Ames Power Washing.
ABC Programme
Thank you to all children who participated in our Indoor ABC programme for the past six weeks. Thank you, also, to their parents, Coaches and Coaching Officer Iggy Geraghty.
Results
The Under 16s were defeated by Kilbride on a scoreline of 5-7 to 5-4 in a very entertaining game on Saturday afternoon. Training continues tomorrow (Wednesday) at 6:30pm. Our Seniors suffered a 1-13 to 0-4 defeat away to Clann na nGael on Saturday evening.
Elphin GAA Membership
Membership fees are now due and players must renew before they play a match. The rates for 2016 are as follows and Players will be contacted during the week regarding same: Family (Adults and all School-going children) €100, Adult Player €50, Third Level Player €30, Underage player €20 and non-playing Adult €30. Elphin GAA Lotto
There was no winner of Saturday’s Club Lotto Jackpot, the numbers drawn were 1, 6, 18 and 22. Lucky Dip winners were PJ Caulfield, Breen Higgins, Hazel Gunn and Sean Neary (Clooncullane). This week’s Jackpot is worth €6,100 and the Draw will be held in the Central Bar. Enter now at locallotto.ie
