St Dominics Camogie Committee are delighted that two Club players will be honoured at the Club Rossie Awards for their playing exploits in 2015. Susan Spillane will receive the County Camogie “Player of the Year”. This is the second time Susan has received this award and complements the “Soaring Star” and Connaught Junior “Player of the Year” award Susan received for her fantastic displays in 2015. In addition, Aisling Byrne has been named as Junior Club Camogie “Player of the Year”. This is a richly deserved award for Aisling after many fine displays in the St. Dominics jersey during our successful Junior campaign in 2015. The club heartily congratulates both Susan and Aisling. The awards will be presented on Friday, 12th February in the Hodson Bay Hotel as part of the Club Rossie Awards night. St Dominics camogie would like to thank all who helped out at the presentation night in Culleen hall on Friday night, last, in conjunction with the minor hurling board. Thanks also to all those that attended and made the event such a massive success. Special guest on the evening was eight time All-Ireland winner Richie Power with the Liam McCarthy Cup and we would like to thank Richie for his time, patience and words of wisdom.
