Senior Football:
It’s back to action for the 2016 Season when we take on St. Faithleachs on Sunday next in Knockcroghery at 2pm in the O’Gara Cup. New manager Malachy Gately has been working quietly over the past few weeks preparing the squad for this year and is happy with how things are going so far. Dominics will be hoping to be very competitive and a good performance on Sunday will be marker for the year to come. Come along and support the lads on Sunday.

Senior Hurling:
Training for our senior hurlers takes place on Saturday evening at 7pm. Everyone is asked to attend. All newcomers welcome.

Camogie:
St Dominics Camogie Committee are delighted that two Club players will be honoured at the Club Rossie Awards for their playing exploits in 2015. Susan Spillane will receive the County Camogie “Player of the Year”. This is the second time Susan has received this award and complements the “Soaring Star” and Connaught Junior “Player of the Year” award Susan received for her fantastic displays in 2015. In addition, Aisling Byrne has been named as Junior Club Camogie “Player of the Year”. This is a richly deserved award for Aisling after many fine displays in the St. Dominics jersey during our successful Junior campaign in 2015. The club heartily congratulates both Susan and Aisling. The awards will be presented on Friday, 12th February in the Hodson Bay Hotel as part of the Club Rossie Awards night. St Dominics camogie would like to thank all who helped out at the presentation night in Culleen hall on Friday night, last, in conjunction with the minor hurling board. Thanks also to all those that attended and made the event such a massive success. Special guest on the evening was eight time All-Ireland winner Richie Power with the Liam McCarthy Cup and we would like to thank Richie for his time, patience and words of wisdom. Training for the U14s continues, details of sessions will be sent out via text.
