New Managers

Kilbride GAA Club is delighted to announce the appointment of managers for our Intermediate men’s and Senior Ladies teams. Adrian Tully from St Aidan’s GAA club will take charge of the men’s team while Ollie Lennon, St Brigid’s GAA club is the new ladies manager. Both men were ratified at a meeting of the club executive last night. Best of luck to both panels for the upcoming season.

Fixtures

Our intermediate men’s team play The first game in league division 2 on Sunday in Kilbride at 2pm.
Our minors are also in action on Saturday evening against St Aidan’s under lights at 7.30pm in Kilbride.

Kilbride GAA Lotto

The lotto draw was held in Foxes on Saturday night. There was no winner of the €3000 jackpot. The numbers drawn were 5,22,26,31. The five €20 winners drawn were E Lohan; Paul O Grady; Rochelle Mullaney; Claire Hanley; Willis Lylettle; Thr next draw will be held in The Red Parrot on Saturday 20th February. Scór

Kilbride GAA are on the search for our local storytellers, solo singers, table quiz whizzes and any musicians or dancers who would be interested in partaking in Scór sinsir! The County Final takes place on the 20th of February in Elphin and there are various different competitions on the night! Competitions must have been 17 on The 1st of January 2016. Those interested may contact Margaret Treacy, or Aoife Griffin for more information!

Result

Well done to our U16 boys who kicked off 2016 with a 2-7 to 1-04 win away to Kilglass St Barry’s on Saturday.

Ladies

The Kilbride senior team met with their new manager Ollie Lennon and his selectors Mike Murray, Michael Tully and Padraig O’Beirne and Eilish Fannon last Friday night after training. The club wishes all the best to Ollie and his management team as the 2016 season begins . Details of training times for the coming week will be sent by text during the week.

U 16 girls training takes place on Wednesday night in Kilbride community centre at 7 p.m. and we hope to have a full attendance on the night .

Hard luck to Siobhan Tully and the Co. Ladies team on their defeat to Wexford in round two of the National League. best of luck to them in their next game next Sunday against Leitrim.

Anyone who has tickets either sold or unsold must return them to Elaine Hanly before Friday.
