Elphin GAA Registration

Thank you to all who attended our Registration morning last Saturday. For those who couldn’t attend another event will be held in the Community Centre this Saturday from 10-11am. Membership rates for 2016 are as follows: Family (Adults and all School-going children) €100, Adult Player €50, Third Level Player €30, Underage player €20 and non-playing Adult €30. Players are reminded that they must be Registered before they can play a match.


Commiserations to our Table Quiz team who finished 10 points behind Champions Kerry in the All-Ireland Scór na nÓg Final.

Under 16 League

The Under 16s begin their Division Three League campaign at home to St. Aidans on Saturday at 12:30pm.

ABC Programme

Our ABC Programme for Boys and Girls aged between 5 and 8 continues in the Community Centre on Saturday at 10am. The ABC programme is a series of fun based exercises and activities which help to develop Agility, Balance, Coordination, Running, Jumping, Kicking, Throwing, Catching and Striking skills in young children. It is open to all children in the parish and will run for another five weeks.

National GAA Draw

A reminder that Tickets for the National GAA Draw (Sold and Unsold) must be returned ASAP to Jim McLoughlin, Tamara Beirne, Ignatius Geraghty or Una Killoran in order to be processed and sent to Croke Park. All Income from all tickets sold by Elphin GAA goes to the Club.

Lotto Results

There was no winner of Saturday’s Club Lotto Jackpot, the numbers drawn were 4, 14, 18, 23. The lucky dip winners of €25 were Aidan Brady, Galway; Enda McGreevy, Portobello; The Keane Family, Emlagh; and Padraig McDermott, Clooneybrennan. This week’s Jackpot will be €5,600.
