Annual Club Social

The Shamrock Lodge was the venue again for the annual Club Social on Saturday night. The Lodge was presented in blue and yellow and the ball room looked fantastic. Well done to Paddy & staff on what was a very well presented venue. There were a number of awards on the night and the ballroom was packed to capacity.
Minor Ladies Player of the Year – Aine Connaughton
Minor Boys Player of the Year – Darragh Kildea
Ladies Player of the Year – Emma Harney
Men’s Player of the Year – Donie Shine
Club Person of Year – Ray ‘Minty’ Fallon Jr.

Special thanks to Galway legend Pádraic Joyce who presented the awards on the night and was warmly welcomed by the crowd. His question & answer rounds with MC John Costello provided great entertainment.

Seamus Sweeney also presented a special award for Roscommon Supporter of the year to our very own Gerry ‘Rasher’ Duignan. Rasher received a huge applause and was deserving of his award for his support of Roscommon football over the years.
