St Michaels 1-3 Eire Óg 3-11

Our intermediate team lost their championship game against a stronger Éire Óg team in Boyle on Saturday evening.

Results and Fixtures

The under 16 boys had a convincing win over St. Croans in the championship at Ardcarne Park on Tuesday. Congratulations to Diarmuid Regan and the county under 16 team and management on winning the Ted Webb Shield at the Connacht Centre of excellence recently.

The under 14 boys play Oran in the division 2 championship on Tuesday evening in Ardcarne Park. Well done to Antonio Chilton, Andrew Tiernan, Jim Harte and Brian O Dowd who played for Roscommon under 14s against Westmeath and Offaly last Saturday.

The under 12s had two games last week, recording a good win away to St. Dominics on Monday but lost out at home to Kilbride on Friday evening.

The under 10s once again gave a great account of themselves at the Go Games at Enfield on Saturday. Thanks to all at St. Croans for their hospitality. Training on Friday evening at 7pm.

The under 12 girls play Allen Gaels at home on Wednesday evening at 7.30pm.

The under 10 girls play Boyle at home on Thursday at 7pm.

Roscommon Ladies Monthly Draw

Tickets for the ladies GAA 50/50 monthly draw are on sale with €350 for the winner and €150 for the club. Tickets €50 and we need your support to sell our quota. Tickets may be bought in full or shared.

St Michaels GAA Lotto

The club lotto jackpot is now €6,500 and the draw takes place in the Bogside Inn next Sunday.

Clothes collection

The clothes collection is ongoing and bags can be left at the Complex.

St Michaels hosted the Junior Football Championship match between St. Ronans and Ballinameen on Sunday. Thanks to all who helped prepare the grounds, the car parking and pitch side stewards, lotto ticket sellers and also to the group of young musicians who played the National Anthem.

To Conor and Jennifer King on the birth a baby daughter and also to Keith and Emma O Hara on the birth of a baby daughter.

Condolences

The club extends its sympathy to the Oates family, Cooladye on their recent bereavement.
