Shannon Gaels Ladies Round-up

Our ladies play in the second round of 13 a side junior league on Sunday next away to Padraig Pearces. Please support.

Congratulations to Caoimhe, Elaine, Christina and the Roscommon minor team on the winning the Connaught B final. Also to Orla, Seonna, Zoe,Caitlin and the Roscommon U14 team on the Connaught title. They defeated Leitrim on Sunday in the final. Wonderful for club to have such good representation at County level.

The club extends it’s sympathy to County minor manager Sean Creighton on the sad death of his father.

Mens Round-up

Underage:
Kilmore/Shannon Gaels U14 team continued their winning form against St. Dominics last Thursday evening with a great win. Final score 7-16 to 0-5.

The club congratulates all our young members who make their Holy Communion last weekend.

Intermedieate team:
Our Intermediate team started off their championship campaign last Sunday in Johnston against Clann na nGael B. We missed a lot of chances in the first half, and full time score Clann 0-15, Shannon Gaels 0-10. Team C. Sweeney, K.Lynch,M.Mulvey, N.Lynch, N.Leydon, S. McDonnell, J.Filan, N. McDermott, O.Viluckis, M.Bourke, F.Sweeney, C. Lynch, C.Harmon, C.Leydon,M.McDermott, D.Harmon, D.Marron, L.O’Dowd, F. Finnerty.
Their next game is against Western Gaels in the league on 21st May.

Sympathy

The club extends its deepest sympathy to Seamus Beirne and Family Eastersnow on the death of Seamus father Paddy, and also to Brendan Whelan and the Whelan family on the death of Tom Whelan. May they rest in peace.
