Cloonfad United 8-0 Glen Celtic
The first team completed their league programme on Saturday night with an 8-0 win away to Glen Celtic. We raced into a 3-0 lead after 15 mins when Shaun Kearney (twice) and Stephen Cunningham found the net. An own goal early in the second half made the game safe and strikes there after from Dylan Keadin, Sean Ruane, Ryan Merchant and Kearney, for his Hat Trick, finished the scoring.
Underage Round-up
The u12’s recorded a comfortable win over Ballaghaderren. Jamie Regan, Luke Ruane, Robert Heneghan, Derek Sweeney, Sean McGuire, Michael Keadin and Rory Regan were on target.
Elsewhere, the u14 team began life in the top division and they gave Shiven Rovers a good game of it despite falling to a 2-0 defeat.
