Camogie

U10 Training finished in the Convent Gym on Friday evening March 31st. From Friday April 7th onward we will train outdoors at the pitch in Lisnamult from 6:15pm – 7:30pm each Friday evening until the autumn (please note the change of time).  A text will only issue if there is a change to this. The U10 camogie contact for 2017 is Jason Connaughton (086) 8683548.
We have a very enthusiastic group of U10 girls playing Camogie this year. They are at various skill levels and a few of them are beginners, but they will all improve throughout the year and we will work hard with them to achieve the basics of Camogie and to have fun doing it.
We ask that they take part in all training and that they practice what they learn during the week.  Encourage them to get out in the bright evenings with their hurley and practice up against a wall or with yourself or a sibling in the garden.  This will really bring them on in their game as the more touches they get in daily, the easier the skills will come to them and the more they will enjoy it.

Football

U6/U8 Football
We trained for the first of the season on Saturday last. As a club we are in the enviable position of having almost 50 children registered to play U8 Football for the coming season. To ensure that we make this an enjoyable experience and optimum learning environment for all the children, we are asking club members if you can support the U8 Management Group by helping out at some of the Training Sessions over the season. Please contact Declan Hussey 086 8177696.
Senior Footballers
Our Senior Footballers are at home versus Padraig Pearses on Sunday next at 2pm, in O Rourke Cup.
