Gardaí in Ballaghaderreen and Castlerea are appealing for the public’s assistance following a number of burglaries in Ballaghaderreen over the weekend.

On Friday (St Patrick’s Day) the window of a Car parked in the Cathedral Car Park was smashed while the owner attended 10am Mass and a Handbag was stolen.
On Saturday a white Mountain Bike was stolen from outside a house on Barrack Street. The biggest theft took place at a house in “The Meadows” that night between 7:45pm and 9:45pm when a large quantity of Jewellery, believed to be worth in the region of €20,000, was stolen.
