Ballymoe FC 5 Brazukas 4
The senior team returned to the top of the Premier Division after a entertaining but nerve wracking 5-4 win over Brazukas. Ballymoe got off to a good start and were 3 up within half hour thanks to goals from Dan Malone (2) and an o.g. However the Brazilian were still creating numerous chances and made it 3-1 before the break. Gerard Connaughton linked up with Cathal Connelly to make it 4-1 but Brazukas got back into the game and with 15 minutes left to play Ballymoe found themselves in trouble with the game all square at 4-4. Ballymoe did however find the winner from Damien Goggins which keeps the title hopes alive with four games left to play.
Fundraiser table quiz
We are hosting a Fundraiser table quiz in aid of the running costs of the senior team in The Grove Lounge this Friday February 10th at 9.30pm. Tables of 4 cost €40 and there will also be a raffle on the night. Please come out and support the club on what is sure to be an entertaining night.
