Cloonfad United produced their best performance of the season when defeating Dunmore Town away by four goals to nil. Darren O’Malley was in great form as he scored our first and was fouled in the penalty area which resulted in Conor Freely scoring his first of the season from the penalty spot. Shaun Kearney was fighting a mini war up front all day with the Dunmore defence but there was not a more popular player in the ground than Shaun when he made it 3-0 From a wonderful O’Malley cross.
In the second half we came under a bit of pressure but we held firm and broke away to make it 4-0 from a great solo effort from Bobby Douglas.

Well done to the Reserves who held Hodson Bay Athletic to a 2-2 draw on Saturday night. Sean Ruane and James McDonagh had given us a 2-0 lead but we did well to hold out for a draw as the pressure came on.
