U10 Camogie

Thank you to the U10 Gaels girls who played at half time in the Senior Co Camogie final in Oran on Sat last. This now concludes the on field activities for the year. Thanks to the u10 camogie players and their families for all their effort and support this year. We hope the players enjoyed the year and continue to play and enjoy camogie. Best of luck to the girls who are moving onto U12 and to the remaining u10s we will see you all early next year when indoor resumes. Thanks also to coaches Sinead Killeen and Teresa Hession for their time, energy and positivity and for the work they put in all year.

U12 Hurling

Congratulations to the U12 hurling skills team of Senan Lambe, James Connolly, Ryan Conlon and DJ Hession who were third in the Connacht team skills in the Centre of Excellence in Ballyhaunis. Well done lads on a great performance.

U16 Camogie

Our girls played in the U16 ‘A’ County Final on Saturday against Padraig Pearses. We gave a good display but unfortunately came out on the wrong side. Our girls can be very proud of themselves and as we said last week they already reached their target this year. There was very little between the teams on the day. After a long year and plenty of good skillful camogie plenty more is sure to come from this bunch of ladies. Well done to one and all and our club is very proud of your effort and exemplary attitude that is an example of how teams should represent Roscommon Gaels. Thank you to the trainers and coaches, parents and loyal supporters for a great effort this year.

U12 team skills Final

Our U12 Skills team of Ryan Conlon, James Connolly, Senan Lambe and DJ Hession represented Roscommon Gales and the county in the provincial final of the skills in Ballyhaunis. Congratulations to the lads finishing third, a truly great result and shows how hurling in Roscommon is growing. These lads obviously have great trainers and coaches but more importantly they are practising the skills of the game and have now begun to reap the rewards. Well done lads.
