Ballymoe FC win Under 12 Division Two

Ballymoe FC 4 Lough Harps 2
Ballymoe FC had a great start when after 10 mins in a ball up the middle from midfielder Micheal Hussey into Cian Revins who sent to the net. The back line of Ethan Beirne, William Brandon and Eoghan Murray kept things moving up the field from the back, busy at times helped out by sweeper Keelan Feeney who tackled everything. He saw off hardbattles and put the ball up to midfield duo Ryan Hanly and Michael Hussey who played their hearts out, keeping the ball rolling into strikers Ashton Glancy and Cian Revins. There was some great runs up the wings from wingers David Malone and Dean Morgan who also played a major role stopping balls going towards Ballymoe FC goals but the safe hands of Steven Swift who kept a clean sheet and with his great kick outs kept the pressure off Ballymoe and came in half time 1-0 up.

The second half started with fresh legs Fionn McNamara, who had a fantastic half in goals, and Simon Caulfield and Daniel Kenny to keep the game going Ballymoe FC’s way. The second goal for Ballymoe came from a ball from Ashton Glancy, passed to Cian Revins who with his super left foot burst the net.
Ballymoe were now set for full flow. The third goal came from hard work from defence and the sharp foot of Ryan Hanly who tread to Cian Revins to kiss the net. The fourth was on its way to seal the deal from the left flank Eoghan Murray like a live wire up the wing and sent in a beauty and the head of Ryan Hanly was there to hit the onion bag. The over all work rate from every player was what paid off. Major players who could not play it but paved the way to here were Dean Glancy, Liam Moran, Evan Feeley and Conor Harris.
