Roscommon County Council have announced that the L-1635, which links Oran and Ballintubber Village is set to close for almost a month to facilitate the upgrade of the Oran Ballintubber Group Water Scheme.
The L-1635 will be closed from its junction with the R-367 in Ballintubber Village to its junction with the L-6662. The close will last from Wednesday October 26th to Wednesday November 23rd and works will take place from 8am to 6pm.
During this time traffic will be diverted towards the R-367-131 from Ballintober Village for the N60 and visa-versa.
Roscommon County Council have said that Residents will be contacted and notified directly by the Contractor in advance of the closure. The closures will be phased to ensure minimum disruption to locals.
