A season ending knee injury to Shane Fagan spoiled our 3-0 win over Loughglynn on Friday night. Cloonfad started the contest well and scored all their goals in the first half hour courtesy of Sean Doyle, Darren O’Malley and Andy Glennon. The visitors came more into the game in the second and almost scored on a couple of occasions. Cian Ruane had a great effort near the end that went just wide.

The B team were well beaten away to Cam Celtic on a 4-0 scoreline.

Fixtures

Next Sunday Cloonfad are away to Sligo/Leitrim Super League champions Boyle Celtic in the 3rd round of the FAI junior cup. This will be a very difficult game for our side as Boyle have us a few heavy beatings in the last few years.
