Colm Quinn BMW sponsored Carrick Golf Club Annual Golf Classic
The Colm Quinn BMW Athlone & Galway sponsored Carrick Golf Club Annual Classic took place over last weekend October 6th – 9th in weather conditions we didn’t have all year.
The Club’s first attempt to hold the classic over weekend of 23-25 Sept was washed out with heavy rain forcing the event to be abandoned. The club would like to thank all the Members and visitors who played a special word of thanks to our sponsors and in particular Colm Quinn BMW Athlone as main sponsor.
Winners of the classic with a great score of 111 was Declan Jason & Niall Loftus and Tommy Aherne (Pictured above). They pipped Seamus & Kevin Sheeran, Damien Quigley & Pat Conlon (Pictured Below) on the B9 .
Third were Colm & Darragh Loftus, Tommy Conlon & Joe Hussey on 110 (Pictured Below).
The winning ladies team was Maureen Egan Kathleen Loftus Carmel Stritch & Breda Traverson 105. Longest Drive for ladies was won by Phil Emmett. Fiachra Neary won the Gents longest drive & Mick Foley nearest the pin.

Christmas Hamper Competition
Our Christmas Hamper Competition has now started and will continue until December 16th. It’s 9 hole stableford, placing everywhere. You must have at least three cards in to qualify and only the best ONE will determine final winners. Please use the white 9 hole cards.
