Senator Maura Hopkins has said that over €1.6 million is to be spent on the construction of 10 housing units in Monksland.
“The Minister for Housing, Simon Coveney, has confirmed to me this afternoon this project is being given approval in principal.
Senator Hopkins stated that “we know there is a demand for housing in the Monksland area and this is a very positive development for Roscommon people on the social housing list. ”
“This announcement comes as part of the Government’s comprehensive housing action plan, called ‘Rebuilding Ireland – an Action Plan for Housing and Homelessness”.
