Senior Ladies
On Sunday morning the Sheraton hotel sponsored Clann na nGael senior ladies played their third championship match versus St Brigids. The game was played in near perfect conditions although sun cream was needed. Both teams battled hard and it was neck and neck with neither wanting to give an inch. Both teams missed some easy scores but finished the first half level.
The second half saw one of the St Brigids ladies in the sin bin for ten minutes. From their Clann used their spare player to their advantage and began to get much needed scores on the board. It was a closely fought battle with Clann eventually emerging victorious. They now face Strokestown in their next outing.
The ladies would like to congratulate the minor ladies that are involved with the county team and wish them good luck in their upcoming All-Ireland.

Our U8 and U10 girls hosted Roscommon Gaels in Johnstown on Friday 15th July in a challenge match. Well done to all involved.
