Senior Team:

Clann started the brighter and were 5pts to no score up inside the opening 10 mins but Western Gaels slowly crept back into the game and some well worked points and a goal from Niall Higgins sent us in at the break 1-06 to 0-06 ahead. We started the 2nd half strongly and kicked the next 4pts to go 1-10 to 0-06 ahead after 40mins but then Clann’s strong spell came and they dominated possession for the next 20mins kicking 7 unanswered points and missing 2 penalties aswell in that time. In a frantic 5 mins of injury time both teams exchanges points with Clann levelling the match for the final time with a pointed free as the last kick of the game.
