Club Rossie Draw

The Annual Club Rossie Membership draw takes place on May 14th next so tickets are on sale now from all our club executive. We have our sales Quota to meet again this year so we are looking for our members continued support over the next few weeks to ensure we meet our quota. Tickets cam also be purchased online on www.clubrossie.ie

Western Gaels has a full range of club merchandise available (Polo Tops, jerseys, togs, socks, hoodies, beanie hats, gear bags etc etc) for the new football season which kicks of in a few weeks time. Men’s Football

Senior Team:
The Senior team kick off their 2016 Senior championship campaign on Saturday evening next at 7.15pm in Elphin when we face Strokestown. Best of luck to both team and management for the year ahead and please support as always.

Minor Team:
The Michael Cooney & Sons Ltd sponsored minor team travelled again on Friday evening to Rockfield to take on Oran in the play -off stages of the league, A goal rush in the closing stages of the first half proved to be the critical period of the game. Western Gaels fought back in the second half but could not close the gap. Final score Oran 5-16, Western Gaels 2-15.

The club wish to congratulate Aidan Dowd who has been selected as the Roscommon minor team captain for 2016.

U-14 Team:
The Drury Oil sponsored U-14 team play Eire Og on Thursday evening at 7,30pm in Loughlynn in the league.

U-12 Team:
The Drury Oil sponsored U-12 team also take on Eire Og in Loughlynn on Saturday in the Spring league. Check fixtures for confirmed times.

Ladies Football

Intermediate Ladies Team:
The Kilrane O’Callaghan & Co sponsored adult ladies team play Eire Og next weekend in round two of the league. Check fixtures for confirmed details.

U-12 Ladies Team:
The U-12 ladies play Clann na nGael next Sunday evening in the first round of the championship. Check fixtures for confirmed details.
