The draw was held in The Red Parrot on Saturday night. There was no winner of the €1,650 jackpot. The numbers drawn were 5,6,19 & 28. The five €20 winners drawn were Suzanne Lohan, Lisagallon; Vera & Dannie Clancy, Racecourse Road; Charles Moran, Grange; S Tiernan, Kilrooskey Rd; Sean Mullarkey c/o David Hickey. Results and Fixtures

Our U12 boys commence their Division 2 Spring league against Elphin-Ballinameen on Saturday at 12pm in Orchard Park, Elphin. Our second U12 team play Clann Na nGael B in Division 6 also on Saturday at 1.30pm in Johnstown.

Our U14 team continued their fine start to the season when they had a comprehensive win over Western Gaels on Thursday. Kilbride 8-10 Western Gaels 1-02.

Our U16 boys play Eire Og in their final league game on Tuesday in Loughlynn at 6.45pm.

Commiserations

Hard luck to Henry and the Roscommon U21 Team who came so close to capturing the Eirgrid U21 Connacht title when they lost by a single point to Mayo in Markievicz Park on Saturday.

Ladies Football News

The inclement weather has had an adverse effect on training and fixtures . Our U 16 girls game against Roscommon Gaels did not as the pitch was unplayable so this will be refixed . Their next outing is at home to Kilglass next Sunday at 4p.m. however this is subject to change . Well done to them on their recent victory over Western Gaels beating them on a scoreline of 5-07 to 3-07.

Good luck to our U 14 girls and their management who have to travel to Woodmount on Wednesday for their Féile quarter final against Padraig Pearses at 7 p.m.

Good luck also to our U 12 girls who begin their non competitive league next Sunday with a home game against Strokestown at 7 p.m.

Our Senior ladies hope to play a 9 a side league game against Western Gaels next weekend ( day and time tbc)
