Roscommon have defeated Dublin by 1-6 to 0-1 in Division 3 of the Irish Daily Star National Camogie League.

Daire Feeley finished 2nd in the 3rd stage of the Kerry Group Rás Mumhan today, to add to yesterday’s 12th place finish and Friday’s 2nd place finish.

There were three local wins in the Connacht Boxing Championship Finals, which were held in The Hub, Castlerea today:
Sean Daire (Ballaghderreen) defeated Gadzanani Malaba (Titans) 3-0 in the Youth 1 54Kg Category
Shane O’Connor (Ballaghderreen) defeated Jason Ward (Tuam) 2-1 in the B4 70Kg Category
Timothy Fitmaurice (Loughglynn) defeated James Conroy (T Pheadair) 3-0 in the B4 42Kg Category
Barry Potter and Owen Morahan, both from Frenchpark Boxing Club, had to conceded their fights

Handball

A second Connacht 40×20 Handball title win today; Fiona Tully & Jennifer McCormack defeated Eimear Ni Bhiada & Anna Ni Odhran Ni Mhurchu (Galway) 21-11, 21-18 in the Connacht Ladies Minor Doubles Final.
Aengus Cunningham & Cormac O’Brien have defeated Joe Dowling & James Towey (Mayo) in the Connacht SM A Doubles Final 20-21, 21-17, 21-12.

Cathal O’Connor & Michael Egan were defeated 21-8, 21-16 in the Connacht Minor 40×20 Doubles Final this afternoon.

Cycling

Daire Feeley finished 12th in the 2nd stage of the Kerry Group Rás Mumhan today, to add to yesterday’s 2nd place finish.

Rugby

Connacht Rugby have defeated Leinster 7-6 to increase their lead at the top of the PRO12 League.

Hurling

Three second half goals and the concession of just one point gave the Roscommon Senior Hurlers a comprehensive 4-15(27) to 0-7 win over Monaghan in the Allianz Hurling League Division 3A Final.

The Roscommon Minor Hurlers were defeated by Antrim in the Leinster League Shield Semi-Final by 2-14 to 2-6.

Gaelic Football

The Roscommon Minor Footballers played out a 0-7 apiece Draw with Longford in the Connacht League.

Boyle Celtic defeated Strand Celtic 3-0 in the Sligo-Leitrim Soccer League.

Cycling

Daire Feeley of Team iTap finished Second on Stage One of the Kerry Group Rás Mumhan.

Handball

Oisin Naughton and Darren Beatty won the Connacht Mens Junior Doubles Handball Final, defeating Galway’s Seamus Conneely and Peter Davores 21-6, 21-7.
