Kilbride GAA Lotto

The lotto draw was held in Foxes Bar on Saturday night. There was no winner of the €1,500 jackpot. The numbers drawn were 4, 16, 22 & 28. The five €20 winners drawn were, Niamh Kilmartin, 42 The Spinney, Roscommon; Brendan Rudden, Rathmore, Fourmilehouse; Tony Brennan, Fuerty; Emer O’ Roarke, c/o All Creatures Vet Clinic; Caroline & Oliver Tully, Kilteevan; The next draw will take place in The Red Parrot on the 2nd April. Mens Football

Our intermediate mens team recorded a fine victory against Castlerea in O’Rourke Park on Sunday on a scoreline of Kilbride 2-13 Castlerea 1-12. Our Junior team take on neighbours St Joseph’s in a Division 5 league game at 5pm on Friday (subject to change).

Well done to Henry Walsh and the Roscommon U21 team who defeated Sligo in the Connacht semi-final and also Conor Shanagher who was a member of the Roscommon minor panel that defeated Sligo in the Minor league.
Our U16 boys suffered a defeat to a strong St. Aideas team in Kilbride on Sunday. Our U14 boys play Strokestown in their opening league fixture on Friday at 12pm in Strokestown.

Congrats once again to Fiona Tully who was crowned All Ireland Minor Ladies Handball Singles Champion at the weekend.

Kilbride GAA Last Man Standing

63 people have made it through to round four of our Last Man Standing competition.

Ladies Football

Our Senior ladies begin their Division 1 league campaign with a home game next Friday evening at 7 p.m. against Western Gaels so best of luck to all involved . Good luck also to our U 16’s who also play Western Gaels next Monday at 4 in Kilbride. U 14 girls are training hard in preparation for their upcoming feile quarter final. U 12 girls training continues this week on Wed from 7 to 8 at the pitch (weather permitting).

Congratulations to Niamh Shanagher, Fiona Tully and the County Minor ladies who had a comprehensive win over Leitrim on Saturday . Best of luck to them in their final round game against Galway next Monday at home , (time and venue tbc).
