Last Sunday’s 18 hole Stableford at Boyle Golf Club was won by Sean Heslin on 39 points.
Second was Patrick Egan on 38 points; Gross Gary Carty, 30 points (gross score) and 3rd was Charlie O’Donnell on 36 points.
Last week’s weekly 9 hole open competition was won by Tommy King, 21 pts; 2nd Charlie O’Donnell, 20 pts. The weekly open competition continues this week, play any day Mon- Sat.
This upcoming Sunday will mark the ceremonial start to the golfing year. The Captain’s Drive-In is always a good social occasion and the club encourages all members to support. The draw for the scramble will take place at 1pm and commence with a shotgun start at 1.30pm. We wish Captains Ross Andrew & Tish Perry every success for their year.
Also, a reminder that the draw for the Spring League will take place on Sunday evening next. Anyone who wishes to play can enter their name on the sign up sheet on the club noticeboard. It begins on the first weekend of March.
