Our Adult mens team got off to a great start in the Tansey Cup when they defeated old rivals St. Michaels by 2- 14 to 2-4. Keep up the good work lads!
They are due to play Castlerea this Sunday at 12pm in Croghan. Check fixtures for details.
Underage
Training for our U8s, U10s and U12s will start on Saturday the 20th February at 9am. U8s will train in the complex Carrick on Shannon and U10 and U12s will train on astroturf. Our minor team started their league campaign last Saturday away to Eire Og but were defeated on a scoreline of 2-11 to 0-9.
Operation Transformation
OT is up an running and their was great turnouts for organised walks all week. Our meeting and weigh in will take place this Tuesday at 8 o clock in club rooms Pairc na nGael. There will be organised walks again this week and there will also be an exercise class in Croghan community centre on Thursday evening at 8pm. Gerard and Colin Butler commence jiving classes at 8.30pm in Bush Hotel on Tuesday 16th Feb. This is a six week course €60 for course or €10 pay as you go.
Referees
A course for new referees will take place on 7th & 11th March in county board offices, anyone who is interested please contact club secretary Teresa Conlon on 0863596604 by 19th February.
